Jesus’ warnings of end-time disasters and strife are certainly making news today. The Balkan countries in southern Europe have experienced record flooding while the much of the American southwest remains parched by serious drought. Terrorist activities, conflicts and threats of war afflict parts of Africa, Asia, southern Europe and the Middle East.
