In recent weeks the weather has been on a rampage. The central Philippines has been ravaged by several major earthquakes that killed hundreds in addition to the super typhoon that has claimed the lives of thousands and displaced nearly a million people. This week a severe storm system (the worst in a century) devastated the Midwestern portion of the United States. The violent storm system spawned numerous tornadoes with winds of nearly 200 miles per hour as it roared across 12 states—killing 12 people and causing a billion dollars in damage.
