Greetings from Charlotte, Mr. Richard Ames gave a Tomorrow’s World Presentation in Troy, Alabama in early February, where 43 guests came to hear him speak. This past weekend, Mr. Anthony Stroud gave a follow-up to that presentation, but moved it down the road to Dothan, Alabama where 45 guests and ten members showed up. These presentations are notoriously unpredictable, and the size of the turnout in Dothan was a big surprise. A number of guests are very enthusiastic about starting a congregation there, so Mr. Stroud is looking into that possibility.
Greetings from Charlotte, All of our traveling speakers for the Days of Unleavened Bread have returned to Charlotte safely, and have given positive reports of their visits to various areas around the world. Dr. Meredith’s article series on the Protestant Reformation is being put together in booklet form. We believe this is an important statement by Dr. Meredith and the Church regarding Christianity, showing the difference between the true Christianity of Christ and the Apostles and the counterfeit Christianity of Revelation 17.
Greetings from Charlotte, Dr. Douglas Winnail returned safely from a very profitable trip around the world, conducting ministerial conferences and/or Tomorrow’s World Presentations in Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe and the U.K. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Stewart from Atlanta visited the Charlotte office this week and met with many of our Headquarters personnel. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart are looking forward to their transfer to the United Kingdom sometime around June.
Greetings from Charlotte, Dr. Douglas Winnail is scheduled to be in Charleroi, Belgium for the Sabbath, before returning to Charlotte on Sunday. Mr. Peter Nathan is visiting some of our congregations in Africa. Many of our members may not know how large a presence we have in Africa, where we currently serve 51 congregations, with a combined average attendance of 750–800. Greetings from Charlotte, Dr. Douglas Winnail left South Africa where he held meetings and gave a Tomorrow’s World Presentation to 207 guests and 46 members and prospective members. Forty-seven visitors requested a follow-up presentation and 27 said they would like ministerial counsel.
Greetings from Charlotte, This week has been a busy time of travel for some of our Headquarters ministers. Mr. Weston has been attending the annual National Religious Broadcasters convention this week in Nashville, along with Messrs. Ciesielka and Smith. Mr. Mario Hernandez is leaving today for South America on a trip that will include the Days of Unleavened Bread.
