Mr. Weston has been attending the annual National Religious Broadcasters convention this week in Nashville, along with Messrs. Ciesielka and Smith. Mr. Mario Hernandez is leaving today for South America on a trip that will include the Days of Unleavened Bread.
Greetings from Charlotte, Dr. Douglas Winnail gave a Tomorrow’s World Presentation in Brisbane, Australia for 134 guests and 42 members. He has since moved on to Perth, Australia. I gave Tomorrow’s World Presentations in Pensacola, Florida and Gulfport, Mississippi last weekend, with 29 guests and 59 members in attendance. Mr. Ed Breaux will hold follow-up presentations this weekend. Mr. Richard Ames recorded a new Tomorrow’s World telecast. Mr. Rees Ellis held a Bible Study for 12 people on the French-speaking Indian Ocean island of Mauritius.
Greetings from Charlotte, Mr. and Mrs. Weston left for the Gulf Coast today, where he will be conducting Tomorrow’s World Presentations with Mr. Ed Breaux over the weekend. Dr. Douglas Winnail is out of town for an extended overseas trip—his first stop this weekend will be Brisbane, Australia, where he will give a TWP. Mr. Wyatt Ciesielka will be in Fayetteville, Arkansas, for the annual family weekend, and Mr. Dexter Wakefield will be in South Florida for a church visit and the happy occasion of his daughter’s wedding.
Greetings from Charlotte, Our first booklets in the Portuguese language were ready for print this week. They were, O seu destino final (Your Ultimate Destiny), O Deus real (The Real God), and Qual Dia e Sabado cristao? (Which Day Is the Christian Sabbath?). Portuguese is the official language of seven nations, including Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique and Angola. The first Spanish edition TWNow live program went out today.
Greetings from Charlotte, This Sunday at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time in the USA, we are to begin airing the Tomorrow’s World telecast over Newsmax network, which has a potential audience of 55 million. While potential and real audiences do not always match, we are hopeful this nationwide network will bear fruit in the long run. We are also scheduled to begin airing the program on KYLE in Waco, Texas on February 4 at 7:30 a.m. Central Time.
