Greetings from Charlotte,
This week, food shortages have caused riots in Venezuela, tropical storms are opening the hurricane season in the Caribbean and growing financial concerns are unsettling economies in our globalized world. Here in Charlotte, Dr. Meredith chaired a Council of Elders meeting conducted by phone this week. Mr. Ames and Mr. Wallace Smith are working on scripts for new Tomorrow’s World programs. Dr. Jeff Fall reports that Mr. Harold Way has been able to return to services in California, but is still dealing with the effects of a stroke he suffered just after the Feast last year. I had a very profitable and inspiring trip to Fayetteville and Joplin last weekend for services and a Regional Conference.
