Extreme weather and geopolitical events are again making news. An “epic snowstorm” dumped more than five feet of snow on western New York state, trapping people in their homes and motorists in their cars. Heavy rains and possible tornados are forecast for the central and eastern parts of the USA this coming weekend. In Jerusalem, Muslim extremists savagely attacked worshipers in a Jewish synagogue to further inflame the tense situation in that troubled city.
